If you’re like me and find dreams absolutely fascinating this blog post is for you! Proverbs 25:2 says that it is the glory of God to conceal a matter, and the glory of kings to seek it out. What better place for God to conceal a matter than in our dreams?!?! In both the Old and New Testaments God spoke to people through dreams, and He still uses dreams to speak to people today!
Are you an avid dreamer? Have you ever had a reoccurring dream or nightmare and want to know what it means? Are you passionate about learning how to interpret dreams so you can use it as a ministry tool to reach the lost and help fellow believers? Do you want to grow closer to God and learn how He communicates with us through our dreams?
If you’ve answered yes to even one of the above questions, I would like to share some book recommendations with you that have greatly helped me on my dream interpretation journey. I’ve interpreted hundreds of dreams over the years, and still use these books today for reference.
Here are my Top 5 Books on Biblical Dream Interpretation:
Doug is a world class biblical dream interpreter and I love his methods on interpreting dreams. This particular book is one of my favorites of his. He has interpreted thousands of dreams, and uses dream interpretation as an outreach tool to reach the lost and introduce people to Jesus. His methods are easy to learn, and his supporting theology is sound. If you’re looking for some great teaching on dream interpretation give this book a try!

You can’t have a conversation about biblical dream interpretation resources without adding the late John Paul Jackson’s work to the list. John was a pioneer and a general in this arena. The revelation and technique demonstrated in the 83 pages of this book is astounding as John Paul breaks down 20 of the most common dreams people have and gives the reader a bigger picture to each dream, it’s details and context, and a call to action on what to do with the interpretation. This is a fast read packed with value, and I found the call to action sections for each dream incredibly helpful!

These are my top 5 Biblical Dream Interpretation books, but there are many other great ones out there. There are also some amazing E-Courses that you can take as well. If you’re passionate about dream interpretation, I would highly recommend ordering one, some, or all of these books to use for reference!
It’s good to have multiple sources when interpreting dreams, and you will get something beneficial from each one of these books because each author has a special take on this topic. Dreams are subjective and the context within each one is unique to the dreamer. Symbols can mean different things in different dreams so having multiple resources can play a major role in helping you unlock the correct interpretation!
At the end of the day the Holy Spirit is the one who interprets dreams according to the Bible, and these books are great resources in teaching the reader how to tap into that interpretation!

Adam Thompson: The Divinity Code To Understanding Your Dreams and Visions is probably the best book. It has biblical meanings for all the dreams I've had.
